It can help you understand others around you, help you understand yourself. It will show you where your greatest opportunities for success are, and where you may have the most obstacles.
Timing is something that is written in the stars, yes, but I still believe in free will. We have the free will to choose what we may, but tendencies, predispositions, inclinations, they shall still remain whether we like it or not.
Perhaps with astrology, we are more aware, and with more awareness, comes more choices, and with more choices, you get more control.
